Stacie Kautsch, DVM

Stacie is a life long resident of Jefferson City and has enjoyed working with and being around animals her entire life. She attended Helias High School from 1992-1996. She graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville in 1999 with a B.S. in biology and a minor in agricultural studies. She then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine.

Stacie has worked at Quail Valley since her graduation in 2003. She married Martin in August of 2005. She focuses mainly on small animal medicine at this time, but also does a small amount of equine work.

Outside of work, Stacie enjoys anything outdoors, especially golfing, hunting, and photography. She has a golden retriever named China, 2 cats named Louie and Tres, and 2 horses, Pride and Pal.

Martin Kautsch, DVM

Martin has also been a life long resident of mid-Missouri. He was born and raised on a farm in Russellville. From a child, he has always been heavily involved in agriculture as his family raised both row crops and livestock. Martin still keeps his passion for farming alive as he has both a commercial fat cattle herd and registered Limousin cattle. He enjoys anything pertaining to agriculture from raising cattle to baling hay to fixing fence. He also enjoys watching his nieces and nephews show their purebred cattle.

Martin attended high school at Cole R-I Russellville. He then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where he studied animal science. He graduated from The College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993, during which time he roomed with Dr. Brian Kueffer. The two decided to open their own practice after 5 years of practicing at different veterinary clinics. In March of 1998, Quail Valley Veterinary Clinic opened its doors.

Martin focuses mainly on large animal work, including both cattle and horses. He especially enjoys reproductive medicine.

Brian Kueffer, DVM

Brian was born and raised in California, Missouri and has lived in the mid-Missouri area his entire life as well. He graduated from Moniteau R-I California and then also went on to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia where he studied animal science. He graduated from The College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He practiced in Sedalia for 5 years before joining Martin in opening Quail Valley Veterinary Clinic. Brian does all species, but focuses mainly on cattle and small animals.

Brian greatly enjoys the outdoors in his time away from work, especially hunting, fishing, and farming. He married his wife, Jessica, in 1997. They have 2 boys, Hayden and Hunter, whom he loves to spend time with as well. They have several pets at all times.

Kaylee Krekel, DVM

Our newest associate, Kaylee, grew up in Carthage, Illinois. Animals have been a big part of her life for as long as she can remember. She was active in 4-H and FFA and stayed very busy training horses and giving riding lessons. Kaylee graduated from Carthage High School in 2005. She attended Western Illinois University graduating with a B.S. in agriculture science in 2009. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and immediately started at Quail Valley. She enjoys working with both small and large animals, but especially enjoys equine medicine.

Kaylee married her husband Erik in 2010. They enjoy doing anything outdoors, such as riding horses, camping, and hunting. Kaylee especially loves to rodeo as she has been a barrel racer since she was 9 years old. Erik and Kaylee have a yellow Labrador Retriever named Oakley, two miniature Australian Shepherds, Gracie and Turner, and several Paint and Quarter Horses.

Clay Samson, DVM

Our newest associate, Clay, grew up in the Marshall area. He comes from an agricultural-based family, involving both row crops and cattle. Clay graduated from Marshall Senior High School in 2005 where he played both football and track. He attended Central Methodist University and graduated with a BS in biology in 2009. He also graduated from the University of Missouri-College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. After graduation, Clay practiced for one year at a mixed animal practice in southern Missouri. He joined Quail Valley in the spring of 2014. Clay enjoys working with both large and small animals but will mainly focus on small animals and cattle.

Clay is married to his wife, Spencer, a native of Columbia. They have one son, Camden, who was born in July of 2013. Clay enjoys following Mizzou basketball and football and is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. His hobbies include working out, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Holly Moon

Holly was born in Sanford, Florida. She has lived in many different locations as her father was in the military. She attended William Woods University where she majored in equestrian science and graduated in 1979. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1989. Holly joined the Quail Valley staff in 2000. She performs many office and secretarial duties. She also assists in many veterinary procedures including patient restraint, patient monitoring, and farm calls.

Outside of work, Holly enjoys raising and showing both Quarter and Appaloosa horses. She recently showed her 2-year old appaloosa stallion to a world grand champion, in the non-pro category! She has 1 dog named Lucy and many cats and horses.

Angie Galliher

Angie was born in Russellville and has lived in central Missouri her entire life. She graduated from Russellville High School in 1997 and took some courses at Lincoln University. Angie started working at Quail Valley in 2002. She performs receptionist duties, but primarily assists Dr. Martin on farm calls.

Angie married Will Galliher in 1998 and has one daughter, Billi, who was born in 2004. Her family enjoys all aspects of the rodeo. Angie is a barrel racer, Will is a tie-down calf roper, and Billi does barrels and goat tying. They have a dog named Sadie, 3 cats, Bucket, Cindy, and Lilly, and many horses. Her family enjoys the outdoors as well.

Molly Sneller

Molly was born in New Bloomfield, MO and has lived on the family farm her entire life. Her family raises cattle and crops and bales a lot of hay. She graduated from Helias High School in 2003. She married her husband, Adam, in 2008, and they still reside on her family farm.

Molly performs many duties at Quail Valley, including receptionist duties, managing the kennels, grooming, processing cattle, patient restraint, etc. She is a very versatile employee that has worked with us since the summer of 2001. She truly loves working with the animals and meeting new people and their pets. She has 3 dogs, Duke, Blaze, and Bailey, and 1 cat, Kasey.

Shea Gentzsch

Shea is also a life time resident of central Missouri and resides on a farm in Callaway County. She enjoys being outdoors and all aspects of farming. Her family raises Limousin cattle. She also bales lots of hay in the summer months. She is an ABS representative and sells cattle semen. She also sets up many herds and performs artificial insemination for her clients.

Shea has been a part time employee at Quail Valley since 1999. She assists primarily in farm calls helping process cattle, work horses, etc. She has several dogs, all Australian Shepherds, and cats.

Angela Colbert

Angela was born in Jefferson City and raised in Russellville. She attended Cole R-I Russellville and graduated in 2002. Angela is our newest addition who began working at Quail Valley Veterinary Clinic in June 2008. She is one of the first faces you are likely to see upon entering our office and someone you may talk to on the phone. She performs mainly secretarial duties but also helps with restraint of animals when necessary.

Angela was married to Josh Colbert in 2009 and they have one daughter, Dacey. They have 3 dogs, Dreni, Clover, and Blue Belle, and 3 cats, Bruiser, Rugar, and Pinkerton. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.
